The Bible

The Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the fully inspired Word of God, and the only true and ultimate authority from God. The Bible tells us all we need to know about God, and everything God requires of us to live for His glory.

Worship Services

Worship is central to our faith and life before God, and the chief labour of the church and all creation. All of our life is to be redeemed to the service of God’s glory. The greatest joy is gathering as a congregation to worship each Lord’s Day [Sunday]. Strength to serve and follow God during the week comes from worshiping Him each Lord’s Day, and keeping this day holy. We are devoted to two Sunday services, morning and evening [Psalm 92:2].

Christian Maturing and the Family

All Christians need to mature in the faith, so we want to help households know God better, and nurture spiritual life in the home. Where needed we try to help husbands and fathers to take up this duty, and provide guidance in teaching the family [Ephesians 6:4].

Mercy Ministry

Mercy is an identifying mark of the church [Matthew 25:34-36]. We are called to serve those who are in need, in the compassion of Jesus. Such service is to accompany the ministry of the gospel, not to be separate from it. As James 1:27 states, “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble”.
