Walking in Gentleness

Read Galatians 5:22-23 with Numbers 12:1-16

Gentleness is a characteristic we do not always appreciate. Many see it as a weakness, or a powerless virtue associated with enduring suffering in a quiet manner. It is, in truth, a virtue of strength. The Holy Spirit gives this to enable the believer to lovingly care for another, in a lowly humble manner, where, in exercising restraint of pride, you do not lash out against another harshly, even though they provoke you. Moses was an example of gentlleness [meekness], and Christ was the preeminent gentle Saviour
