Love One Another Fervently

Read 1Peter 1:22-25

Jesus gave a lot of instruction to his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion, which centred on loving one another. Peter picks up this point in his letter, as one of the first pursuits of holiness = sincere, fervent and pure-hearted brotherly love. By our rebirth in Chris by the Holy Spirit, were have been empowered to such holy love.

Walking in Love [2]

Read Galatians 5:22-23 with 1Corinthians 13:1-13

Walking in the Spirit is obeying and walking in the most repeated command of the New Testament - "Love one another." The last sermon defined "Love" as an attribute of God, which love has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. This message reveals pratically how that love works out of us in relation to one another.

Walk in Love [1]

Read Galatians 5:22-23 with 1John 4:7-19

Love is not something the world can understand or exercise apart from God, for God is Love. As believers we have been given this grace in the fruit of the Spirit, and are able to love God and love one another because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Spirit. Listen to the importance this love has in our life as a believer.
